30works @ CityLeaks III, Cologne

Goodbye Summer, Hello CityLeaks! To kick off the third CityLeaks festival, 30works presents a special exhibition involving an illustrious line-up of the international street art scene. Partcipating artists are Various & Gould, ALIAS, Thomas Baumgärtel, Dzia, Mister P, Rourke Van Dal, Tank Petrol, XOOOOX and xxxhibition – just to name a few. CityLeaks shows artworks of street art pioneers and new visionaries who explore and interpret the genre in their very own ways.

Thus ALIAS displays dark, offensive and especially socio-critical stencils while Thomas Baumgärtel’s spray-Charlies stand for the freedom of expression and tolerance. Whereas Rourke Van Dal presents his famous children’s themes raising the important questions of our time. And where Tankpetrol relies on the provocative aestheticism of weapons and war means, Various & Gould venture a surreal play with identities with their collaged heads.
